HHS Secretary Michael Leavitt Wades Into Blogdom
October 31, 2007Earlier this year, after the success of the Department of Health and Human Services’ Pandemic Flu Leadership Blog (and no doubt also due to the success of FDA Law Blog), Secretary Michael Leavitt decided to test the waters of blogdom with his own blog, aptly named Secretary Mike Leavitt’s Blog. The blog was launched on August 13, 2007 with this post, and a commitment by Secretary Leavitt to personally write the posts, rather than relying on staff. Since then, Secretary Leavitt has posted about once a week. His posts cover a broad range of topics (from personalized health care to import safety) that FDA Law Blog readers might find of interest. You can sign up for Secretary Leavitt’s blog here.
